Sample Requirement:

Enterobacteriaceae bacterial isolates which are CRE positive by culture, will be reflexed to
CROXPERT test to detect CP gene.
No additional sample is required as the pure CRE isolate will be taken directly from culture.
Collect a small scoop of stool in a clean, screw capped container with
the attached spatula or a rectal swab in eSwab.
