Dr Yu Chia-Wen, Carmen graduated from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom. She joined the Internal Medicine rotation of the Royal London Hospital and passed MRCP before embarking on training in histopathology at St George's Hospital and Guy's Hospital in London. She was Lecturer and Senior Registrar at Guy's Hospital where she completed her training to obtain MRCPath and also MD by thesis from the University of Cambridge. She returned to Singapore as Consultant Pathologist in the histology and cytology laboratory in Gleneagles Hospital which is now merged with the laboratories of Mount Elizabeth Hospital under Parkway Laboratories.
